TECHNOLOGY AT GRIER
Technology is a powerful instructional medium and an important part of every student鈥檚 education. At Grier, students use technology to supplement instruction from teachers and to explore new areas of information. By encouraging independent use, we help develop the attitude that technology is a tool for learning available to all students and under their control. As students learn to use technology, they gain confidence in their ability to think and to learn, a primary goal of education.

requires every student to bring their own laptop. Because students and teachers use technology in their everyday learning, Grier provides high-quality classroom technology equipment and campus-wide high-speed internet access over a wireless and hard-wired network.
IT SUPPORT
麻豆区 is a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) school. Students bring their own Mac or Windows laptops to school. 听We offer on-site IT Support to students Monday-Friday from 7:30am-3:30pm should they experience any technical issues.
MICROSOFT OFFICE 365
All students at 麻豆区 have access to Microsoft Office 365's student use benefit using their Grier email account.听 This allows students to access the Microsoft Office productivity suite which includes Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneDrive and Teams via the web or install on their devices.听
VERACROSS STUDENT\PARENT PORTAL
Grier utilizes the Veracross Student Information System to track student data. 听Students and parents can access the Veracross portal for school-related information, grades, attendance, events and much more.
COMPUTER LABS
Grier has multiple computer labs for student use. Our Video and Graphic Arts labs are equipped with 27" iMac workstations for video and graphics editing. Our Library and 听Computer Science labs feature 27" Windows workstations for student use.
CANVAS LMS
Grier uses the Canvas LMS system to deliver curriculum and assignments to students. 听Canvas is a widely used platform in higher education and prepares students for their learning experience at colleges and universities.
