Enrichment Programs

Grier offers a variety of Summer Enrichment Programs for students enrolled in the upcoming school year.

These programs begin before the academic year officially starts, allowing the students to return to campus in small groups, forge connections, develop skills, and have a blast!

In addition to their individual areas of focus, participants can enjoy excursions, activities, and meals together.

and for 2026-27 programs must be completed and returned to Âé¶¹Çø by August 1, 2026.

DANCE & CHOREOGRAPHY

Danielle Bower (Assistant Artistic Director of Dance) Danielle is a dance educator and arts administrator with a degree in Dance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA, as well as a BS in Business, and has danced professionally with SynthesisDANCE, as well as with various freelance choreographers and companies in NYC and Philadelphia. She has been a guest teacher at Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway, and Peridance in NYC, faculty at Koresh School of Dance, and was the Artistic Coordinator and Performance Company Director at The Rock School West for over 15 years, where she played an integral role in the development of the school’s programming. Her choreography has received numerous awards and recognition and her students have been accepted into top dance programs such as Juilliard, USC Glorya Kaufman, Marymount, NYU, and PACE, as well as into professional dance companies. Danielle has also served as the School Programs Assistant at the internationally recognized Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, as a manager at Broadway Dance Center, and has taught and set works for hundreds of schools nationally and internationally, choreographed television commercials, and continues to judge competitions and teach at studios, festivals, and conventions across the US. Currently, Danielle is the Assistant Director of Dance at the Âé¶¹Çø in central PA where she teaches, choreographs, and is the lighting coordinator for all performances. She is also working towards her MS degree in Performing Arts Leadership & Management at Shenandoah University to further her growth as a leader and broaden her mentorship reach for students wishing to pursue a career in the arts or non-profit sector.

Nicole Harmon nharmon@grier.org

Nicole Harmon (Dance Faculty) Nicole holds her BFA in Dance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA, and trained at Koresh School of Dance, The Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, and Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway in NYC. She also danced professionally for various shows and choreographers in Las Vegas, NV, and Philadelphia, PA. She was the Regional Director at The Rock School West for over 20 years where she developed and expanded the school’s programs and summer intensives, established and directed the school’s performing company, and produced and directed the school’s annual Spring and Summer Showcases. Under Ms. Harmon’s direction, Rock West was recognized and awarded for its excellence in dance education, including an invitation to attend Dance Excellence, an international dance festival for young dancers in Los Angeles, California that selects studios in honor of their dedication to dance, performance & arts education. She has received national recognition for her teaching and choreography, and her students have gained acceptance in top dance programs such as Juilliard and USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance, and acceptance into professional dance companies. Nicole is also a certified Yoga teacher and uses her knowledge to help dancers strengthen and heal their bodies and increase their mental awareness to have longer-lasting and healthier careers in dance. Nicole is on faculty at the Âé¶¹Çø and continues to serve as guest faculty for studios, festivals, and schools across the tri-state area.
